FUND RAISING AND PLANNED WORK The first phase of the planned work to the bells and tower was finished at Easter 2003. The next phase has a number of elements and is a bigger undertaking. We are hoping to improve the tuning and hanging of the bells, the pinnacles, access to the tower and the clock. We have recently been awarded £50,000 support from the Heritage Lottery Fund which has greatly helped the appeal and with some recent generous donations and more grants we are now ready for the work to start. |
